The USB controlled and independently powered pump seems awkward compared to fan and pump supplied from the motherboard OPTi connector alone, and the need to run using the RGB fusion software only seems a bit limiting, as it then clashes with afterburner, for example. I shaved some of the plastic off, and it went straight in.The product was received in prompt time and perfect condition The cooler assembles easily and all parts fit without modification. Yes, because that's what I thought initially, I tried to set the connector onto the 5 pin header on the motherboard, but I noticed that the fans RGB connector didn't fit because of the uh "Plastic" surrounding the 4 pins. ![]() I know I have had to write so much, but it is easy as I have the same type of motherboard with the same 2 connectors and have my RGB 4 pin fans working with a tremendous light show.Yep, I have been sucked into the madness that is RGB.Next it will be addressable RGB!!!! Do not make a mistake and by attaching the 4 pin fan connector the wrong way!!!!! It is important to line up the 4 pin RGB Fan connector with the arrow (on the connector itself) with Pin 1 on the motherboard RGBW connector.so 12v which is the one with the arrow on the FAN connector to the 12v which is the first pin on the RGBW connector on the motherboard. There is a proper diagram in the manual that shows this. The 4 pin RGB fan connector fits the 5 Pin RGBW connector leaving one pin free. Hi, You have 2 locations, one top left side of Motherboard and one bottom left of the motherboard where you can attache the 4 pin RGB connection to the motherboard. If you have your manual, it is LED C1 and LED C2.but and this is important, Gigabyte have provided 5 pin RGBW connectors on the motherboard, so these are 5 pin connectors and you have 4 pin but it still works and this is critical. ![]()
